Heartwarming moments of Palestine solidarity from Italy

From South of Italy to its North, Italian streets and balconies are filled with compassion. In Naples, two young girls wave a white sheet from their window until protestors hand them a Palestinian flag. While in Milan, an elderly man watches through tears, a paper flag taped to his balcony. These wholesome moments come as Italy witnesses one of the strongest waves of solidarity with Palestine in Europe. Last week, over two million Italians joined nationwide strikes and rallies to protest the genocide in Gaza. Additionally, polls show nearly 90% of Italians support recognizing a Palestinian state, and three-quarters believe "Israel" is committing genocide in Gaza.
