In an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht Ravanchi dismissed claims that Tehran is seeking negotiations with the US or “Israel,” stating, “We are not begging for anything... we are just defending ourselves.” He also emphasized that Iran will not negotiate while under attack and warned that if the US becomes militarily involved, “Our hands will not be tied. We will do whatever is necessary to protect our people and our interests.”
