Hundreds of pro-Palestine protesters marched in central Paris on Saturday to protest the participation of the Israeli delegation in the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. Hundreds waved Palestinian flags and carried banners with messages such as "Ban Israel" and "Genocide is not an Olympic event." Members of the pro-Palestinian group Europalestine criticized the authorities' double standard, noting that Russian athletes have been barred from competing under their national flag, while no similar measures have been applied to Israeli athletes amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
