Hundreds of protesters rallied in Christian neighborhoods of Damascus early Tuesday, condemning the burning of a Christmas tree near Hama in central Syria. Chanting "We demand the rights of Christians," the demonstrators marched through the Syrian capital, heading toward the Orthodox Patriarchate headquarters in the Bab Sharqi district.
