Iran's Former Minister of Foreign Affairs joins 'Defense of Homeland' campaign

In a video statement, Iran's former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Javad Zarif, announced that he has formally "joined the national campaign of solidarity to protect our homeland." He also called on his "friends and noble compatriots" to join the campaign as well, pushing for national solidarity amid the Israeli war on Iran. In response to the Israeli aggression against several Iranian provinces, media professionals across Iran have launched a national campaign titled "Defense of the Homeland." Initiated by media professionals and backed by journalists, editors, photographers, and social media activists, the campaign "condemns the blatant and criminal aggression of the Zionist regime against our sacred homeland Iran, which has led to the martyrdom of innocent compatriots." The statement further described the Israeli attacks as a violation of Iran’s territorial integrity and a clear act of state terrorism.
