Iraq's parliamentary election 2025: Who's in, who's out

With Iraq’s parliamentary elections less than a month away, the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) has disqualified more than 800 candidates and reinstated candidate Sajad Salem, a member of al-Badil Coalition. The Commission also announced that over 1.5 million biometric voter cards have been distributed nationwide since September 2024, with around 3.5 million still pending.
