As Gaza ceasefire talks resumed on August 15 in Doha, the families of Israeli captives took to the streets of Tel Aviv, outside the headquarters of Netanyahu's Likud party, demanding an immediate prisoner-captive exchange deal. One Israeli settler explicitly expressed his distrust in Netanyahu's government since "It has been torpedoing any effort to get a deal for the past 10 months," and which did "nothing but [drag] its legs and [avoid] signing a hostage deal." Meanwhile, another settler addressed the Israeli delegation by saying, "If a deal is not signed today or in the coming days at this summit, do not return to Israel," adding, "You have no reason to return to Israel empty-handed."
