As US Secretary of State Antony Blinken delivered opening remarks at his final news conference, journalists Max Blumenthal and Sam Husseini confronted Blinken about the US policy on "Israel's" war on Gaza. Blumenthal challenged Blinken, stating, "Why did you keep the bombs flowing when we had a deal in May? We all knew we had a deal." He further accused Blinken of waving "the white flag before Netanyahu." "Why did you allow the Holocaust of our time to happen?" said Blumenthal as he was escorted outside. Likewise, journalist Sam Husseini was forcibly removed from the briefing. "I was sitting here quietly," Husseini protested as he was dragged away "Why aren't you at The Hague?" said Husseini to Blinken from across the room.
