Juliane Assange emerges victorious, free
Julian Assange, WikiLeaks founder and landmark journalist, has been freed after risking facing extradition to the United States. Assange, who entered into a plea deal with the US government, was granted bail by the British High Court and is expected to finalize the deal with US authorities later on. After years of standing up against injustice, during which the US and UK tried to arbitrarily use laws against him, Assange managed to emerge victorious.
