Missiles don't discriminate, but Israeli bomb shelters do

“We’ve decided we don’t want you to come.” That’s what Palestinian families in Yafa were told as they sought shelter in bunkers when Iranian retaliatory missiles targeted the occupied city in June 2025. Palestinians from the territories occupied in 1948 were locked out of bomb shelters, denied protection, and reminded once again that their “citizenship” means nothing when it matters the most.
