Mother of Filton 18 activist protests outside UK parliament

Emma Kamio, the mother of political prisoner Leona Kamio, held a protest outside the UK Parliament. Leona is one of the Filton 18, a group imprisoned and potentially facing up to two years on remand for dismantling Israeli quadcopter drones. This comes amid UK lawmakers' vote to designate the pro-Palestine group Palestine Action as a "terrorist organization" after the group staged a direct action at a Royal Air Force base in southern England last month, damaging two aircraft in protest of Britain's arms trade links with the Israeli occupation.
