Palestinian-Jordanian chef shares tales from Palestinian cuisine

In response to "Israel's" war on Gaza, Palestinian-Jordanian Haya Bishouty, a community chef based in Dubai, has begun a unique endeavor. Inspired by the need to raise awareness about Palestinian culture and cuisine, she has organized a series of community tables, referred to as "sufras." Through these gatherings, Bishouty aims to introduce people to the rich history and identity of Palestine, using food as a vehicle for cultural exchange and understanding. With each meal served, she hopes to spark meaningful conversations and create a platform for solidarity with the Palestinian people.
