Potential entry ban on Israeli passports risks the Maldives losing the "US dollar"

The world's "leading democracy", at least according to what US President Joe Biden labeled his country recently, has done it again. The US plans on "punishing" the Maldives for intending to implement an entry ban on those holding Israeli passports. At the same time, the US is cooking a legislation that would impose sanctions on ICC officials preventing them from entering the US. The words "sovereignty" and "democracy" are once again being tailored based on what benefits it and its allies.
