Reporter Dan Boylan on Washington's view of Sayyed Hassan vs. H-am-as

In an interview for Al Mayadeen, Dan Boylan, a National Security reporter at The Washington Times, contrasted the US perceptions of the Secretary-General of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Sayyed Hassan, and H-am-as. Boylan explained that while Washington views Hamas through a localized lens involving Gaza and "Israel", Sayyed Hassan represents a more formidable challenge, connecting the war to broader Iranian influence. He noted the Biden administration's struggle to influence Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who may see an opportunity in what he perceives as a power vacuum in the US. With an estimated 150,000 Hez-bol-lah missiles pointed at "Israel", Boylan questioned Netanyahu's willingness to escalate tensions, given the catastrophic implications of a full-scale war.
