In a symbolic act of defiance, residents of Ayta al-Shaab in South Lebanon were seen in videos circulated online setting fire to the Israeli flag after the ceasefire agreement came into effect, allowing displaced citizens to return to their towns. Another footage showed a Lebanese citizen taking down the Israeli flag from a tower and lowering it to the ground. This comes as Lebanese citizens celebrate their return to their homes, marked by scenes of joy and solidarity despite the destruction caused by Israeli aggression.
