Senator David Nakhid of The Republic of Trinidad And Tobago

In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Senator David Nakhid of The Republic of Trinidad And Tobago claimed that shutting down "Israel's" embassies and recalling its ambassadors will not stop the Israeli occupation from "committing their atrocious acts of genocide against the Palestinian people". Instead, "there [have] to be more concrete actions against the state that calls itself Israel," which goes beyond breaking diplomatic ties with "Israel", he said. Nakhid suggests imposing sanctions on "Israel" and "stopping of all investments, [and] sending of arms by the European Union" as well as leveraging economic power to force "Israel" to stop its genocide on Gaza.
