Sheikh Qassem reveals to Al Mayadeen three reasons for opening Support Front on Oct. 8

In an exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem revealed that the group’s decision to open a Support Front was a calculated response to the evolving dynamics of “Israel’s” war on Gaza following the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7. Sheikh Qassem confirmed that Hezbollah had no prior knowledge of the Operation and explained that opening a support front was a decision made to serve three goals.
