Sayyed Hassan was a symbol of resistance, not only in the Islamic world but across the globe, pointed out the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky. In an exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen, Sheikh Zakzaky said that for the free people of the world, Sayyed Hassan was a symbol of resistance and the liberation of humanity from oppression. Touching on the martyr's funeral procession on Sunday, which he took part in, the Nigerian cleric indicated that the ceremony was unprecedented in Lebanon’s history and a testament to the enduring presence of the Resistance and Sayyed Hassan's unyielding spirit.
