Son of Marwan Barghouti: "Despite brutal tactics, my father's spirit remains unbroken

The son of Marwan Barghouti, a prominent Palestinian leader and detainee, shared an emotional message, in an interview for Al Mayadeen, regarding his father’s condition and the support shown by Palestinians, particularly those in Gaza. Barghouti’s family, who had been without updates on his condition for three months, was finally able to learn of his well-being during a rare lawyer visit on Monday, marking only the third time in a year they received any information about him. "Despite the pain, suffering, and the brutal tactics used against him, he greeted his lawyer with his head held high and his usual smile drawn on his face," said Barghouti's son, emphasizing his father's resilience in the face of isolation and continuous punishment. "No matter what they do, they will not break his spirit," he asserted, noting that his father has been detained by Israeli forces for fifty years, yet he remains steadfast.
