Thousands of Israelis protest in Tel Aviv, demanding prisoner exchange deal
For the third day in a row, Israeli settlers continue to protest against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government, calling for a prisoner exchange deal with the Palestinian Resistance. The Israelis blame Netanyahu for adding clauses that steered a nearly complete ceasefire deal to a dead-end. "The Philadelphi Axis is the biggest bluff there is," said Eli Albag, a father of a captive, adding, "Netanyahu thinks Israel’s people are dummies. Hez-bol-lah, Iran, the West Bank, Gaza — the most important axis is the Ben Gvir-Smotrich axis. That’s the most dangerous axis to the nation of Israel." The demonstrations are taking place in several intersections around Israeli-occupied territories, including areas in Tel Aviv, Rehovot, and Hod Hasharon, as well as other areas in the lower al-Jalil.
