While CJA focuses on climate issues in poor and Indigenous communities, it has also highlighted the environmental destruction caused by "Israel’s" war on Gaza. Notably, the Biden administration had already stalled the funding before leaving it in President Trump’s hands. This move aligns with Trump’s broader political crackdown, including support for the “nonprofit killer bill,” which could strip organizations of their status if they are labeled as “terrorist supporting organization.”
