US citizens' money wasted... again

Trigger warning for the working class: Your hard-earned tax dollars are being wasted again. The US Navy burned through $1.84 billion trying to modernize four cruisers that are now retired without ever being deployed. Why? Inefficient planning, when it's not about pouring that money into some regime change or armament thousands of miles away from home.
