Former US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Middle East, Mick Mulroy, told Al Mayadeen during an interview that "Over 60% of the Israeli population wants a ceasefire, but it seems Netanyahu is more focused on keeping his political power." He adds that US frustration is rising, and there are reports of Washington considering separate talks for US captives.
