Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Washington, Mohammad Karim, reported on the protest near the US capitol ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Congress, where he delivered a speech. The protest was organized by more than 20 institutions in the United States with protesters hailing from different states and cities. They denounced his visit, with one protester saying, "For Congress to receive someone like Netanyahu, a war criminal, is shameful and unlawful, considering that they are hiding someone who is an outlaw." "He is supposed to be arrested and not allowed to give a speech," the protester asserted.
