Disney's Star Wars Hotel
Disney has revealed the prices for its much anticipated Star Wars hotel.
On Wednesday, Disney revealed the prices for its much anticipated Star Wars hotel — and it won't be cheap to spend a few days immersed in a galaxy far, far away.
A price to match
The Galactic Starcruiser, a Disney World-based hotel, is essentially a cruise ship set in space, with the price to match. According to the firm, it is the "most immersive Star Wars tale ever made," and to participate, you may have to pay $6,000 for two nights.
The firm published sample hotel cabin rates: A two-night stay in a cabin costs $4,809 for two people, $5,299 for three people (two adults and one child), and $5,999 for four people (three adults and one child).
Why is it worth it?
Disney describes the hotel, which opens in spring 2022, as a "revolutionary new two-night experience where you and your group will go on a first-of-its-kind Star Wars journey that's your own."
What does $6,000 get you in space?
That price, according to Disney, includes "ongoing, immersive, and interactive entertainment, where your choices determine your experience," your meals (excluding alcohol), and entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios, home of the Star Wars-themed park Galaxy's Edge.
According to Disney, "price varies depending on your cruise departure date, the number of guests in your cabin, and the style of accommodation."
