Like many active email persons, I keep receiving plea letters to sign petitions for this matter or that cause. With a fairly good knowledge of plights taking place all over the World, I usually refrain from reacting just to avoid making the inevitable mistakes of judgment or position-taking a reader could make.

A major and well-due exception to this former rule implied itself with the World crisis in Ukraine where double standards have created inequalities of extra-terrestrial magnitude.

In reaction to some of the received letters, I decided to use the very text received of the petition letter and just made minor changes in selected key words namely: read Palestine and Palestinians instead of Ukraine and Ukrainians, and “Israel” or “Israeli” in lieu of Russia or Putin. I have invariably ended my letters with a closing sentence joining the plea… on the condition of respecting the historical chronology while discarding double standards in order to eliminate inequalities. Some of the results are below:

In letter 1 I wrote: 

Dear correspondent.

“Israel” isn't stopping.  Its deadly crimes of war grow louder every day.

As terrified families hide underground, their daughters, fathers, and even their grandmothers are risking everything to stop its deadly actions.

Thousands have been killed and millions of refugees are on the run. But as “Israel” has all its weapons on high alert, all the time, its crimes against humanity shall undoubtedly drag the whole world to the gates of hell.

“Israel” must be stopped.

A campaign pushing governments everywhere to stand up for Palestine should be launched.. But we must do more.

Millions should be getting this email, and if just a tiny fraction donates, we can supercharge our campaign to help end this rogue state’s illegal occupation. We could help get aid to Palestinian refugees, support rights defenders and civil society across the region, expose the Israeli's online propaganda, and power a major advocacy push demanding governments stand up to “Israel” and protect Palestine's people.

None of us wants this state of the situation, but democracy, freedom, and human rights are under attack. Let's take a bold, defiant stand for Palestine and the world we dream of -- donate what you can now. 

In letter 2 I wrote:

Dear correspondent.

Millions of casualties. Millions of refugees. Democracy in retreat.

That’s what experts know is the deadly cost of “Israel’s” illegal occupation of Palestine.

Efforts to prevent the situation were never serious, but efforts to end it must succeed. Fast.

Palestinian civilians have been killed all the time because “Israel” believes the world is too divided to hold it to account. Let's show it is wrong, with a massive, urgent open letter from people everywhere calling on governments to impose far-reaching sanctions on the rogue state called “Israel”. Add your name with one click and share everywhere to defend the rights of humans to exist and stand up for the people of Palestine in their CENTURY of need!

In letter 3 I wrote:

Dear correspondent,

“Israel‘s” crimes against peace must be stopped. 

“Israel's” baseless occupation of Palestine is riddled with war crimes and other atrocities – cowardly killing, shelling innocent people, and launching missile attacks damaging schools, hospitals, etc…

This state of the situation is simply illegal and we must hold those responsible accountable. Right now, that is nearly impossible. But we can change that!

If we act, at last, world leaders could create a special tribunal to ensure “Israel” and its criminals don’t get away with this!  Experts across the world know this can be done – all that’s needed is political will and a massive global outcry.  So add your name now and once 1 million of us sign on, we will take our voices to the Almighty, the UN, and halls of power across the world!

In letter 4 I wrote:

Dear correspondent,

Thank you for your letter. 

In as-mush-as I do sympathize with any humanitarian plea, kindly allow me to use your very own words to convey the following:

“Israel’s” missiles are destroying Palestinian cities and killing Palestinian civilians, including Palestinian children.  As a father, mum, brother, sister, son, and daughter, I can tell you it’s terrifying -- but today we can all do something to help make a difference in this horrific 100-year ever-lasting war.

Western colonial governments and financial institutions are still fueling “Israel’s” crime machine with billions, by importing and investing in the Israeli economy.

It is high time for this to become our moment to massively ramp up public pressure, and push the free world to stop fueling “Israel’s” crime machine!

Let's hit a million signatures which, as usual in the Palestinian cause, will have no noticeable effect, and we’ll deliver our voices straight to leaders and key media outlets who, as usual again, will ignore them.

In my closing sentence wrote:

Dear correspondent,

I do agree with you.  My Plea reads as follows: Let us all stand together for your plea above… but chronologically… meaning Palestine first, followed chronologically by Europe of World Wars I and II, Korea, Vietnam, right through to Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and the never-ending rest of The Wretched of the World.

With deep sorrow and feelings of abandonment.
