The American strategy in West Asia post-October 7th is one of de-escalation, as America does not have the ability nor interest to expand the war and engage with the whole resistance axis. It is currently confronting each entity of the resistance axis independently and defensively, with October 7th marking the turning point in offensive resistance military operation for the first time.

In the wake of the Israeli occupation entity’s killing of IRGC Quds Force general Razi Mousavi in late December, America sought to distance itself from the attack, in what has been continued efforts to avoid direct confrontation and misunderstanding with Iran. The Islamic Republic of Iran is in a state of offensive and declared response to the several attacks occurring inside and outside of its territory, such as the attack in Kerman during the 4th-anniversary commemoration of General Soleimani. In retaliation, Iran struck a Mossad base in Erbil and Jaish-ul-Adl group in Pakistan’s Baluchistan province, linked to the terrorists who carried out the Kerman attack.

Iran has moved in the international equation from the stage of ‘absorption’ to the stage of ‘rebound’ and reversing blows on the direction from which they emerge. Iran did not wait or postpone its attacks, rather it responded quickly in unexpected places, right at the headquarters of the conspiracy. As Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Lavrov stated, the strikes are not far removed in aspects from the conflict in Gaza – that is to say the Iranian strikes are a response to the Israeli occupation entity’s strikes, through striking its regional tools that are directed against Iran.

There is no doubt Iran would respond to the centers from which these attacks against Iran spread, the difference now being the place and time intended for the response, which has become within reach and proximity, are decisive, surprising, and unexpected. Iran says it is in another position capable of stopping this from going too far.

Pakistan's initial intimidating reaction quickly subsided and weakened when it realized that America does not have the luxury to pay attention to this provocation, nor was it interested in using Pakistan in this pursuit. The current war in Gaza is what occupies America’s attention. It is running out of time to count its successive losses and gather its tools, while the most important project for it in the region, the Israeli occupation entity is trembling in its hands. The reality is that the international arena is fast changing, whilst America is in another world to that of pursuing provocative and intimidating policies; it is currently in a different time to this.

The reality is that the parties that were yesterday the tentacles of confrontation against Iran’s policies, that support resistance against occupation and tyranny, are now looking for compromises because of the shift in the situation on the ground. October 7th was the deciding factor that showed who are the people of truth, seeking the salvation and emancipation of their people, and who are the tools seeking to destroy the will of their people, including the Arab rulers hostage to Western interests.

It has been made clear the entities that are submissive and active, and between them, who is silent due to weakness or conspiracy. The peoples of the region and the world are changing, with regional and international public opinion lifting its veils, as the masks have fallen and the facts have become apparent. The facts about who is the sponsor of international crime have become clear and have now been revealed, in addition to who is the shepherd of humiliation and submission. It has also been made clear those who inspire emancipation and liberation, are equipped with the tools of confrontation, inspiring movement, and dignity.

The peoples of the region and the world are beginning to realize this reality, whilst deception, false analysis, and patterns of lies no longer pass or deceive. The initial official Pakistani position did not realize the beginning of this phase and tried to grant itself a chance in a role that no longer had room or place for it among the Americans. The good news is that Pakistan was not delusional and did not take long to realize this, despite being late.
