  • Quds Day reaping fruits today
This day represents a focal point of unity around al-Quds for Muslims and all the free people of the world (Illustrated by Zeinab al-Hajj; Al Mayadeen English)

The significance of al-Quds Day is the revival of al-Quds and the Palestinian struggle for justice in the souls of Muslims and all the free people around the world. This day represents a focal point of unity around al-Quds for Muslims and all the free people of the world. It is a source of hope and a pledge to stand up to the most powerful and arrogant entities.

Al-Quds Day ultimately represents the true, non-traditional concept of Islam and expresses the authentic Prophetic model in its call for human liberation from all kinds of injustice. This day holds religious significance for the cause of Palestine, and it is for this reason that Imam Khomeini chose it to be on the last Friday of Ramadan - the holiest day in the holiest of months.

The impact of al-Quds Day increases year after year, whereby its power lies in encouraging all Muslims and free people of the world to join in the spirit and action of resistance.

The commemoration of this day proves that a public and legitimate right is not lost as time passes when it is claimed, for 7.5 decades later, Palestinian liberation is a reality that has not died.

It is the spirit of al-Quds Day that is bearing the fruits witnessed today, which is an integrated Axis of Resistance armed with the slogan of al-Quds, which has centralized Palestine as its focal point.

Al-Quds Day this year is not like the other years, constituting a major obstacle to the current American project of accelerating normalization and the "two-state solution", as this day constitutes a constant reminder for the Muslim Ummah to reject normalization.

Clear Palestinian eliminationism after one year of 'Israel’s' genocide in Gaza

The unprecedented degree of violence witnessed in Gaza and the West Bank today is an indication of the bankruptcy of the Israeli occupation entity. The confusion and duality displayed in the American positions are evidence of a turning point and crossroads regarding the future of the Israeli occupation entity.

That is due to the largest American project in West Asia failing in its functional role of protecting Western interests and is in fact turning into a liability for Western interests. This prompts alternative policies and solutions to be proposed moving forward.

The balance of powers today is shifting in favor of the Resistance forces on the ground. This is compounded by the swing in public mood against the occupation entity spanning the whole world. The pressure of the mass people on their governments has further distanced the governments globally from the Israeli occupation entity.

This includes the criminalization of the Israeli occupation entity through international bodies, such as the ICJ for the first time, bold changes in the official positions of countries, especially in Southern America, such as Brazil, and Europe's lack of enthusiasm to support the crimes.

The reality is that this war has exposed the masks and false values advocated by the West, which is no longer able to cover up the crimes. The Israeli occupation entity has been exposed as a rogue entity and is in danger of becoming a pariah in global politics. World thinkers today are discussing the inevitability of "Israel's" demise and its lack of ability to survive in light of its failures.

The gradual shift in Western positions means that the West will not rely on a project that has become ineffective and is a failure, which has been demonstrated post-October 7. Thanks to al-Quds Day and its accompanying results, America will find itself at a turning point and shifting to limit the role of the occupation entity that no longer meets its ambitions and interests.

The current American support for the Israeli occupation comes in false hopes that the entity can weaken the Resistance on the ground. However, the policies will shift post-ceasefire when it is finalized that "Israel" has no power to militarily weaken the Resistance in Gaza. This can all be credited to the spirituality that al-Quds Day has created in the course of standing up against injustice and breathing life into the Resistance.
