In the epic of the Iliad, the legend tells of the Greek siege of Troy that lasted 10 years in the 12th century BC, yet the Trojans did not surrender. The Greeks feigned withdrawal, leaving behind the Trojan Horse as a gift for their adversary's valor. The Trojans fell for the trap and brought this massive wooden horse inside their city. During the night, Greek warriors hidden within the horse emerged and conducted a mass slaughter of the Trojans.

After 25 centuries from that historical event, history seems to repeat itself. "Israel" has besieged Gaza since 2005, but the Palestinians have remained resilient. Each time, "Israel" leaves behind its own Trojan Horse, exploiting an event to justify its brutal and indiscriminate attacks, showing no regard for places or sacred days, whether Islamic or Christian.

All of this is done to annihilate a people who have suffered greatly in the world's largest open-air prison, a prison spanning 360 square kilometers, roughly a quarter of the size of London, housing approximately two and a half million people in one of the world's highest population densities. There are seven gates to this prison, six controlled by "Israel", with only one on the Egyptian side, yet the European Union oversees it.

"Israel" excels in its killing and destruction operations, each bearing distinctive names: Operation Cast Lead in 2008, Pillar of Cloud in 2012, Protective Edge in 2014, Guardian of the Walls in 2021, Truthful Dawn in 2022, and now Iron Swords.

These "iron swords" penetrate the bodies of innocent and unsuspecting civilians daily, as tons of explosives rain down like a hurricane upon them. American stealth drones launch missiles with internationally banned chemical substances, including cluster bombs and white phosphorus shells. Meanwhile, U.S. aircraft carriers rush to support "Israel", with the United States, Germany, Britain, France, and Italy issuing a joint statement of support.

These are the same countries that shed crocodile tears over the war in Ukraine. Yet they ignore thousands of prisoners in Israeli jails, some of whom have been on hunger strikes for a long time, and others who have perished due to severe food deprivation. They turn a blind eye to the violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, terrorizing worshippers on their holiest days, and ignore the killing of civilians and journalists in front of cameras. They ignore the tragedies of Sabra and Shatila, Deir Yassin, Muhammad al-Durrah, Abu Khdeir, and Shireen Abu Akleh.

America tried to improve "Israel's" tarnished image in recent years, culminating in the so-called Abraham Accords and negotiations with Saudi Arabia for normalization. However, it seems that these "iron swords" have shattered all those hopes.

While writing these lines, the resistance released an Israeli woman and her two children. However, "Israel" continues to rain explosives upon the heads of Gazans. The number of martyrs has exceeded two thousand, and their leaders declared on camera that they have blocked Gaza from food, electricity, water, and fuel, threatening to bomb any aid convoy approaching Rafah.

It is clear how "Israel" is bearing the characteristics of terrorism like ISIS. Troy faced the fate of genocide… Don’t let  Gaza face the same destiny.
