Wise Men Fear the Fury of God
A boxing match can explain much about the state of our world.
The recent World Heavy Weight boxing contest between British Tyson Fury and American Deontay Wilder is symbolic for many reasons. In their pre-match encounter before their previous contest in 2018 Wilder appeared to suggest he was possessed by spirits in the ring. Fury replied:
“I don’t believe in that stuff at all. Because Jesus Christ is my savior. And I don’t believe in other spirits and alter-egos. And even mentioning stuff like that on TV... you’re getting it! Honestly, if God is with me, nobody can be against me. If you’re entering spirits into your body, you can’t win, you’ve already lost. I’m sitting here today as a sincere man who hides nothing behind no curtains.”
As Fury spoke, Wilder began to shout hysterically. He looked possessed. Then, the ultimate hubris:
“It’s gonna be your God against mine!”
The fight on 9 October was the third of a boxing trilogy. Both men were knocked to the ground several times during the contest but Fury, who had a strong lead on points, knocked out his opponent in the eleventh round. Most pundits, including former world champion Mike Tyson (after whom Fury was named), agreed it was one of the greatest boxing matches of all time.
But there is something epic and even spiritual about this contest. Fury’s greatness as a boxer is not so much his capacity to throw knockout punches but, rather, his capacity to stand up after being knocked down in spectacular fashion by Wilder in the second fight.
Wilder whacked Fury with a left-hook; Fury’s head bounced off the canvas. Everyone thought the fight was over. Wilder began to gloat over his enemy. Then, to everyone’s surprise, Fury got up on the 6th count. Wilder couldn’t believe his eyes. He looked as if he had witnessed a miracle. Later in an interview, Wilder admitted that this moment may have been a sign from God:
“When I saw him rise up, in my mind I was like… I’m looking at his eyes rolling in the back of his head like the sun setting. You know, it’s over. When I’m seeing him rise up like he did, you know, one of the things, while me opening my mouth being surprised, another thing went through my head like: If you don’t believe in God, this is the reason you should.”
Fury went on to win the fight. Wilder seemed to get the divine message but it didn’t convert his proud heart. Before their final showdown in Las Vegas on 9 October, the American sent Fury a message on Instagram quoting unspeakable obscenities about the Virgin Mary from a rap song written by Tupac Shakur. It proved that Fury’s description of Wilder as a “bum” was remarkably apposite.
Tupac Shakur was a gangster rapper and convicted rapist bought and paid for by Jewish money. According to Ayo H. Kimathi, wealthy American Jews such as Jay Heller promoted gangster rap among the black community.
Gangster rap was a divide and conquer strategy of class rule. It helped turn the black man into a violent commodity, which could be hurled at the white working-class instead of towards wealthy Jewish elites. Tupac was eventually assassinated. It is widely suspected that the men who created him decided to ‘take him out of the ring’.
It should not be forgotten that voodooism and spirit conjuring is very much part of the demonocracy we currently live under. For example, it is not unsurprising to find out that Bill Gates wanted to use "Satanist artist” Marina Abramovic to promote Microsoft’s new Hololens.
One can see why Fury knew all along that he was going to win. Any man who puts his faith in filth and challenges God is destined to lose -- sooner or later.
Fury has talked candidly about suffering a nervous breakdown after 2015. He says, recovering his mental health was the biggest fight of his life. And he attributes that recovery to faith. The Mancunian boxer came from an Irish itinerant family; fighting is in his blood.
But he has never been promoted by the media as a star like the more famous Irishman, former UFC champion Conor McGregor.
McGregor is just as famous for being a barbarian as he is for professional fighting. His crass incivility has made him the poster boy for a generation of dolts who value brawn over brains.
Before losing to Russian Khabib Nuromagomedov in 2018, McGregor unleashed a torrent of vituperation against his opponent on social media. He even turned up to a press conference with a bottle of whiskey, taunting the Muslim teetotaler.
Nuromagomedov is a different kind of character. A devout Muslim, he prays in the mosque, abstains from alcohol, and behaves like a real man. He said before the fight that he would punish McGregor for insulting his family, nation, and religion. The punishment was severe. Squeezing the Dubliner in a crushing headlock, Nuromagomedov taught him how to pray.
Before contests, Tyson Fury gathers his team to pray. Sometimes, Muslims in his team pray in Arabic. He has been seen turning up for fights wielding a rosary bead. Rosary beads used to be an essential part of every Christian warrior’s arsenal. In the Islamic world, prayer beads are associated with strength and virility. In Iran, I have noticed that Muslim men who are the most respected in their communities often carry prayer beads. Christendom won many wars through the power of the rosary; Fury clearly knows that.
Tyson Fury told the Daily Mail in 2015:
“We live in an evil world, the devil is very strong at the minute, very strong, and I believe the end is near. The Bible tells me the end is near. The world tells me the end is near. Just a short few years, I reckon, away from being finished.”
In that interview, the intrepid pugilist denounced the war on the family being waged by western elites. That earned him much opprobrium in the British press. He also mentioned the wars in the Middle East as a sign of approaching ‘end times’.
Fury has said he wants to inspire the millions of depressed men contemplating suicide (a veritable plague in the West) that the power of God is real and that such power can remake any man.
Perhaps never in human history has it been so difficult to be a man. Look at the abominable creatures running the West! What are they? Are there pronouns sufficiently ridiculous to designate those degenerate nincompoops?
Our soldiers are sent to poor countries to murder and oppress people on behalf of a Luciferian oligarchy, while foreign barbarians are welcomed into our nations with open arms. Having destroyed Syria, the elites are now turning to the destruction of Lebanon. Here again, weak and cowardly men in the payroll of the CIA are hailed as ‘heroes’ while patriots are demonized.
The voodoo of contemporary culture pummels Western man to the canvas of causes that seem lost to him. Men in the West are offered the choice between effeminate Trudeaus and Macrons or brutes like McGregor and Wilder. But it is the man of tradition who will emerge victorious in this technocratic world-dystopia.
Prayer is spiritual warfare. Fury’s victory shows us that men who respect God and His Moral Law are ultimately the best fighters. For blaspheming the Blessed Mother, God’s Fury rapped Wilder once and for all. God’s fury humbles the proud. Let that be a lesson for the depraved tyrants ruling the West! Who can defeat men who fight for God, family, and nation?
