Gaza's death toll surpasses all major 21st-century wars - El Pais

Five out of every 10 martyrs are minors. Three out of every 10 killed are women. Two out of every 10 are men. To the above numbers must be added the staggering 63,354 wounded. The gravity of the situation becomes even more apparent when compared to other wars in Iraq, Syria, and Ukraine, where Gaza has experienced a higher daily death rate than all other three. Notably, the Ukraine war took 19 months to reach 10,000 dead whereas it only took one month of Israeli aggression on Gaza to reach that daunting figure.
