New Super Mario Bros. Movie on the Way!
Nintendo announces that a new Super Mario Bros. animated movie will be released in 2022, and several famous actors will star in it.

The animated movie will be available in theaters starting December 21, 2022.
Japanese multinational consumer electronics and video game company, Nintendo, has announced that actor Chris Pratt will voice Mario's character in the upcoming Super Mario Bros. animated movie.
The famous "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor expressed his happiness voicing Mario's character and described it as a dream come true. He also mentioned that he used to play the arcade game as a child.

The new movie will include other famous stars such as "The Queen's Gambit" star, Anya Taylor-Joy, as Peach, Charlie Day as Mario's brother Luigi, and Jack Black as villain Bowser.
In a tweet, Nintendo revealed the film's voice actors which also includes:
Keegan-Michael Key as Toad
Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong
Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek
Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong
Sebastian Maniscalco as Foreman Spike

Originally announced in 2018 and produced by Nintendo and Illumination, the animated movie will be available in theaters starting December 21, 2022, mentioned Nintendo.
Significantly, none of the cast is Italian as Mario and Luigi, and it is still undecided whether the actors will speak in Italian accents. However, in a video he posted on his Instagram account, Pratt said that he is working hard on his Mario voice.
In 1993, a live-action movie was released but some critics thought it was "unsuccessful."
