Iran, Qatar finalize MoU to develop Bandar-e Dayyer
The governor of Bushehr affirmed the shared interest in enhancing economic relations and leveraging the port's strategic location to boost trade and infrastructure development in the region.
A significant step in regional economic collaboration was marked on Friday with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran and Mwani Qatar.
The agreement, aimed at the development of Bandar-e Dayyer, was formalized through a video conference between Teymour Bashir Gonbadi, Head of the International Agreements Office at Iran's Ports and Maritime Organization, and Jabor al-Sulaiti, head of Commercial Affairs at Mwani Qatar.

Bandar-e Dayyer, located in Iran's Bushehr Province along the Persian Gulf, plays a crucial role in regional trade and logistics.
Its strategic position near the Strait of Hormuz enhances its importance as a maritime trade hub.
Despite its operational status, Bandar-e Dayyer is in a phase of ongoing development to expand its infrastructure and capacity.
The MoU reflects the growing economic interactions between Iran and Qatar, driven by Bandar-e Dayyer's proximity to Qatar's Al Ruwais port.
