Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy, Mahdi Safari, announced that the Iranian Foreign Ministry is preparing to release a list of prohibited imports linked to Israeli companies.

"The final list of goods associated with Israeli companies will be sent to the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade by next week. After sending this list, the ministry will place a ban on ordering those goods," Safari was quoted as saying by Iranian news agency Mehr.

According to the minister, Iranian law strictly forbids trade and business dealings with "Israel", along with the importation of products from companies that support "Israel".

In June, the League of Arab States (LAS) expressed its support for the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) for their decision to boycott products originating from illegal Israeli settlements in the Palestinian territories. Additionally, the LAS endorsed the ETUC's call for "regulatory measures" aimed at preventing European Union (EU) companies from trading such goods in compliance with EU treaties and international law.
