The Morozov art collection returns to Russia after uncertainty
Moscow was not entirely sure it would get the Morozov collection back after the isolation war and sanctions on Russia.
Some of the artworks from the Morozov collection, after being taken back from Paris, are displayed at the State Tretyakov Gallery, the head of the gallery, Zelfira Tregulova, revealed.
Tregulova revealed that 33 artworks have returned to the Moscow museum "in perfect condition without any changes in preservation."
The gallery, as revealed by her, will participate in the summer exhibition of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, which resembles the one that took place in Paris.
"The works that are not involved in Pushkin Museum’s exhibition have returned to the [gallery's] hall," Tregulova told Rossiya 24 broadcaster.
She referred to two artworks from Konstantin Korovin and 2 others by Valentin Serov.
Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova on Thursday said the Morozov collection, which is a collection that consists of more than 160 artworks from French and Russian artists, returned to Moscow after months of uncertainty.

Over one million people checked in at the exhibition, named "The Morozov Collection. Icons of Modern Art," which was held in Paris from September 22 to April 3.
