China exports up 12.5% in first quarter of 2022
Compared with last year, China's exports have gone up 12.5% from January to April of 2022 and totaled $1.09 trillion.
According to the Chinese General Administration of Customs, China's exports increased 12.5% from January to April 2022, totaling $1.09 trillion.
Meanwhile, China's imports climbed by 7.1% in the first four months of this year, reaching $881.4 million.
From January to April, China's entire international trade climbed by 10.1% compared to the same time the previous year, reaching $1.98 trillion.
China's overseas trade surged by 30% in 2021, reaching $6.051 trillion. Exports increased by 29.9% to $3.364 trillion, while imports increased by 30.1% to $2.687 trillion.
According to the Chinese General Administration of Customs, trade between Russia and China increased by 25.9% in the first quarter of 2022 compared to the same period last year.
Russia-China trade totaled $51.09 billion from January to April 2022. China's exports to Russia climbed by 11.3% year after year to $20.24 billion, while Russia's exports to China increased by 37.8% to $30.85 billion.
Trade between the two nations surged by 35.8% in 2021, reaching a record $146.887 billion.
Meanwhile, China's trade with the US increased by 10.9% from January through April of 2022, totaling $245.7 billion.
Moreover, exports to the US increased by 14.9% in the first quarter of 2022 and totaled $184.91 billion.
