Russia's oil, condensate production in 2022 up by 2.1% y/y to 534Mt
Russia's average daily oil production increases by 0.2 percent to 10.92 million barrels in December.
Russia's oil production, including gas condensate, increased this December by 3.5 percent month-on-month to 46.2 million tonnes in November, and the average daily oil production increased by 0.2 percent to 10.92 million barrels; in 2022 oil production was up 2.1 percent year-on-year to 534 million tonnes, Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said on Wednesday.
"Oil production, including gas condensate, in December 2022 increased in comparison to December 2021 by 0.1% to 46.2 million tonnes. Production increased by 3.5% compared to November 2022. In 2022, 534 million tonnes of oil were produced, which is by 2.1% more than in 2021," the report read.
In 2022, Russia's liquefied natural gas (LNG) output increased by 8.1 percent year-on-year to 32.5 million tonnes, while the figure decreased by 4.8 percent year-on-year to 2.8 million tonnes in December, Rosstat added.
"A total of 2.8 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas were produced, which is by 4.8% less than in December 2021, and by 0.4% more than in November 2022. LNG production in 2022 amounted to 32.5 million tonnes, which is by 8.1% more than in the same period of 2021," the report said.

In 2022, gas production in Russia decreased by 13.4 percent year-on-year to 573 billion cubic meters, and by 14.6 percent year-on-year to 51.3 billion cubic meters in December, Rosstat said.
"[In December] 51.3 billion cubic meters of combustible natural gas were produced, which is by 14.6% less than in December 2021, but by 6.7% more than in November 2022. In 2022, 573 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced, which is by 13.4% less than in 2021," the report said.
In 2022, Russia increased coal production by 0.4 percent year-on-year to 437 million tonnes, the statistic office said, adding that the production increased in December of the same year by 11.2 percent year-on-year to 43.3 million tonnes.
The production of passenger cars in Russia in 2022 fell by 67 percent year-on-year to 450,000 units, and commercial vehicles — by 24.3 percent year-on-year to 141,000 units, according to Rosstat.
In December 2022, 40,300 passenger cars were produced, 68 percent less than in December 2021, but 70 percent more than in November 2022.
The figure for the production of commercial vehicles in December increased to 15,300 units, which is by 25.5 percent less year-on-year, but by 35.9 percent more month-on-month, the report said.
