Diaz congratulated all those who made this work possible and indicated that Cuba's strategy in manufacturing the doses needed in record time and under difficult conditions was successful.
He explained that the data provided by the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba showed the effectiveness of the vaccination process in reducing the risk of Coronavirus infection.
Earlier, Martinez had confirmed that his country may be the first country in the world to vaccinate all its residents against Coronavirus before the end of 2021.
It is worth mentioning that Cuba was able to develop several vaccines against Coronavirus, which are: Soberana 01, Soberana 02, Mambisa, Abdala, and Soberana Plus.
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recognized Cuba's role in the production of vaccines against the Coronavirus in Latin America.
