26 dead in massive road accident in North Mexico
As of Monday, the death toll reached 26, Mexican newspaper La Razon reported, citing the police.
Mexican media reported on Monday that 26 people died as a result of a massive road accident that erupted into flames as a cargo van crashed through a trailer in the state of Tamaulipas in Northern Mexico.
Regional law enforcers arrived at the scene of the crash early Sunday morning but failed to find a tractor that allegedly transported the burnt trailer.
State police said on this day that about 13 people died and several others were injured.
