Fuel tanker accident leaves 40 people dead in Liberia
Liberians climbed on an oil tanker that tipped in Liberia, hitting it to make its fuel leak, causing it to explode and killing about 40 people.
In Bong County, Liberia, at least 40 people have died and 83 were injured after the explosion of a fuel tanker according to Chief Medical Officer Francis Kateh.
According to FrontPage Africa, a Liberian newspaper, the incident took place on Tuesday in Totota, about 130km away from Monrovia, after which people jumped on the tanker in hopes of collecting the petrol that was leaking which resulted in the tanker exploding.
