As police officers were combing the primary crimes scene, dispatchers received reports that more persons had arrived at Harborview with gunshot wounds.
Just before 4:30 am, officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting at the Rainier Hookah Lounge, located on the 2200 block of Rainier Avenue South.
Police Chief Adrian Diaz stated during a press conference on Sunday afternoon that when they arrived, they discovered three persons who had been shot inside and outside the lounge—two males and a woman.
The two young men, 22 and 32, passed away at the scene from their wounds. The 30-year-old lady was transported in critical condition to Harborview Medical Center by Seattle Fire Department medics, but she later succumbed to her wounds on Sunday morning.

At the press conference, Seattle fire chief Harold Scoggins stated that five people, ranging in age from 22 to 38, were in stable condition as of Sunday afternoon. Initially transported to Virginia Mason Medical Center, a 23-year-old man was subsequently transferred to Harborview in critical condition, according to Scoggins.
The victims were questioned by police at the hospital. The homicide unit of the police department is in charge of the investigation.
Police and fire officials were still speaking with the shop owners and searching for any video evidence as of Sunday afternoon without having confirmed what had led to the shooting. Diaz wouldn't disclose how many individuals the police officers were looking for, but he did claim that at least five guns had been found.
In a statement, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell said that even as Seattle police "keeps up a rapid and record pace of recovering guns – 869 through July – there are still more illegal guns in the wrong hands that could be used to incite another tragedy like this one."
