Netflix Estimates Squid Game Will Be Worth Almost $900 Million

Netflix's hugely popular TV show Squid Game will generate nearly $900 million in value for the company, according to Bloomberg’s internal documents, while the show cost only 21.4 million to produce. The documents have offered valuable insights on the streaming service's figures.
Squid Game has become a global smash hit and Netflix's most-watched original show, with 132 million people watching for at least two minutes, the streaming service's standard for counting viewership. According to Bloomberg, the streaming giant thinks 89% of people who started Squid Game watched at least 75 minutes. It thinks 66% of viewers - or 87 million people - finished the series in the first 23 days of its streaming.
