One killed, 5 injured in party shooting in Virginia
The shooting sprees in the US continue, claiming lives almost every other day now.
One person was killed and five people were injured in a shooting at a party in Chesterfield County, Virginia, according to NBC12, quoting local police.
According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire on Friday night and discovered one guy dead and at least five others injured. One of the victims has a broken arm, the report said.
Police were reportedly seen collecting evidence on Saturday morning. The authorities have yet to reveal any information about the suspects.
A few days earlier, US public figures and gun-control advocates urged the US government to take measures that would ensure mass shootings could not happen again.
