A "shooting incident" was reported at the Chicago White Sox's Guaranteed Rate Field on Friday night during a game between the Chicago White Sox and the Oakland Athletics.

One woman was wounded in the leg by a gunshot, while another was grazed in the abdomen. The 42-year-old victim is in fair condition at the University of Chicago Medical Center, and the 26-year-old opted not to receive medical attention.

It remains uncertain whether the shots originated from inside or outside the ballpark. The White Sox expressed their concerns for the victims, and prompt police response ensured safety without an ongoing threat.
