A teenager is suspected of murdering his parents in preparation for an assassination attempt on US President Donald Trump's life, according to an FBI report released by ABC on Sunday.
A Wisconsin teenager allegedly killed his parents to gain both the financial resources and the personal freedom he believed were necessary to carry out an assassination of President Donald Trump and attempt to overthrow the US government, according to the channel.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department reported in a press release that on March 1, they discovered the bodies of 51-year-old Donald Mayer, the teen’s stepfather, and 35-year-old Tatiana Casap, the teen’s mother, inside their home.
According to federal court documents, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reviewed writings allegedly authored by the teen that advocate for the assassination of Donald Trump and urge the start of a revolution to "save the white race."
The writings show images of Adolf Hitler with the following text: "HAIL HITLER HAIL THE WHITE RACE HAIL VICTORY," according to court documents.
"He was in touch with other parties about his plan to kill the President and overthrow the government of the Unites States. And he paid for, at least in part, a drone and explosives to be used as a weapon of mass destruction to commit an attack," investigators said in the federal affidavit.
According to available information, 17-year-old Nikita Casap was arrested in March and charged with two counts of murder, concealing bodies, and several additional offenses.
Investigators believe that Casap may also have been involved in planning an attack against Trump and attempting to acquire or use weapons of mass destruction.
As stated in the report, Nazi-related materials were discovered on the teenager's phone, along with documents in which he allegedly advocates for an assassination attempt on Trump. At the same time, law enforcement officials also believe that he may have had accomplices.
