There are renewed fears for UK's Queen Elizabeth II’s health following Buckingham Palace’s statement about the royal figure being under medical supervision due to doctors' concerns "for Her Majesty’s health."
This comes just two days after the release of photos that showcase the Queen’s meeting with UK’s new Prime Minister Liz Truss.
Following the release of photos from the meeting, the public was immediately alarmed by what appeared to be a dark blue bruise on the queen's right hand.
According to the palace, the queen is "comfortable" and will remain at Balmoral. Officials said her son, Prince Charles, and grandson, Prince William, were traveling to be with her.
In a tweet, Truss said that “the whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime.”
