The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas on Tuesday called for mass global protests this coming weekend, declaring Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as “days of rage against the occupation and in rejection of US support.”

“We issue an urgent appeal to our Ummah and all free people around the world to participate in a global week [of rage] under the banner ‘Gaza is calling you,’” the movement said in a statement.

Hamas expressed appreciation for international grassroots and union-led calls to action, encouraging people to heed them by designating Tuesday as a day for labor strikes. “The cries of children, the groans of the wounded and sick, and the anguish of the hungry and displaced are calling out to every living conscience in the world,” the statement added.

The movement warned that the “fascist occupation government” continues to block the entry of basic life-sustaining supplies into Gaza for the seventh consecutive week and is deliberately targeting water wells and desalination plants in the besieged territory.

“This catastrophic reality imposed by the occupation in Gaza is a core component of a deliberate act of genocide,” Hamas said.

It called on the United Nations and the international community to fulfill their responsibilities and pressure the Israeli occupation to end its collective starvation tactics. Hamas also renewed its appeal to Arab and Islamic countries to take a historic stance to lift the “unjust blockade” on Gaza.

'Israel' strikes Kuwaiti Field Hospital in Khan Younis

Meanwhile, Gaza’s Ministry of Health condemned the Israeli occupation's targeting of the Kuwaiti Field Hospital in Khan Younis, stating that the attack “confirms the occupation’s deliberate attempt to destroy the healthcare system and undermine patients’ access to treatment.”

The Ministry also announced that 17 Palestinians were martyred and 69 others injured over the past 24 hours as a result of ongoing Israeli attacks across the besieged Gaza Strip.

Rescue and medical teams continue to face immense challenges, with victims still trapped under the rubble and lying in streets that are inaccessible due to heavy bombardment and destruction.

The total death toll from the Israeli assault on Gaza has now reached 51,000 martyrs and 116,343 injuries since October 7, 2023. Since March 18, 2025, 1,630 Palestinians have been killed and 4,302 wounded.
