The Israeli government has officially approved the ceasefire and captive deal framework proposed by US President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office announced on Friday.
This comes after a full day of stalling following the Palestinian Resistance's approval on Thursday. Despite agreeing on the first phase of the agreement, the Israeli occupation's aggression did not cease. Still, it continued its massacres in the Gaza Strip, leading to at least 70 Palestinian casualties, including martyrs, injured, and those trapped beneath the rubble.
Earlier, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that fighting would come to a complete halt once the agreement received governmental approval. The ceasefire terms include the suspension of all military operations, such as airstrikes, artillery shelling, and ground offensives within the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu's office has just announced that the Israeli government approved the framework for the release of Israeli captives, dead and alive.

During the first 72 hours of the ceasefire, Israeli aerial surveillance will be suspended in areas from which the occupation forces have withdrawn, as part of de-escalation arrangements to ensure the agreement's implementation on the ground.
The Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas announced during the early hours of October 9 that an agreement had been reached that would lead to a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
According to details declared by the group, its non-negotiables, which include the complete end of the war, the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces, the entry of humanitarian aid, and a detainees and captives exchange, have been realized.
