The Israeli occupation launched fresh aggression on Yemen early Friday, targeting critical infrastructure in the country’s west.
According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Yemen, Israeli strikes hit both the al-Salif Port and the al-Hodeidah Port, both in al-Hodeidah Governorate along the Red Sea coast.
The two strategic maritime facilities were targeted simultaneously, marking a significant escalation by the Israeli occupation.
Yemen support for Gaza unbowed
The leader of Yemen's Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, highlighted Thursday the operations conducted by the Yemeni Armed Forces this week in support of Gaza, reaffirming their steadfast solidarity with Palestine against the Israeli occupation.
The leader of Yemen's Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, announced that the operations in support of Gaza have reached nine this week, carried out with hypersonic and ballistic missiles as well as drones, noting that one of the Yemeni operations coincided with a speech delivered by US President Donald Trump in Saudi Arabia during his visit to the Middle East.
He emphasized that "among the most important operations was the strike on Lod Airport (Ben Gurion Airport)," part of their sustained campaign to establish an air blockade against the occupation, reaffirming their determination to achieve this goal.
He also affirmed that Yemen's stance in supporting Gaza has never wavered or weakened, remaining steadfast as always, while calling on the Yemeni people to turn out in massive numbers tomorrow, Friday, for million-strong rallies in Sana'a and other provinces, raising their voices loudly in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
'Israel' targets civilian infrastructure
Earlier in the month, the Israeli occupation launched airstrikes on Yemen's Sanaa airport, north of the country's capital.
The aggression came shortly after the military issued an evacuation threat for people in the area around the main airport in Yemen's capital Sanaa, a day after "Israel", with US cooperation, bombed the port of Hodeidah after a Yemeni missile landed Sunday near "Israel’s" main Ben Gurion Airport.
Shortly after the order, the aggression commenced, targeting the airport and several other areas and infrastructure not included in the warning.
