Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported on Tuesday that Israeli occupation aircraft carried out a series of airstrikes on the outskirts of villages in the western sector.

He confirmed that an Israeli airstrike also targeted the outskirts of al-Labouneh in al-Naqoura in the western sector. Our correspondent mentioned that the Israeli occupation airstrikes targeted the outskirts of the towns of Yater and Kafra.

He mentioned that the house targeted by the Israeli occupation in the town of Yater is inhabited by workers.

The Israeli occupation also carried out a series of airstrikes that targeted the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab and Marwahin, as well as the outskirts of Kfar Kila and the Shebaa heights.

Earlier, intense artillery shelling by the Israeli occupation targeted the outskirts of the towns of al-Labouneh, al-Naqoura, and Alma al-Shaab, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.

He stated that Israeli shells targeted the forests of Deir Mimas, al-Khardaleh, and al-Qlayaa, adding that an Israeli airstrike targeted the outskirts of the town of al-Naqoura using a drone.

This comes as the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues to respond to Israeli aggressions. The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced Tuesday that its fighters targeted Israeli artillery positions in northern occupied Palestine in response to the targeting of one of the resistance points in Iqlim Al-Tuffah.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the Birket Risha Israeli site was targeted directly from Lebanon, across from the towns of Yarin and al-Bustan.

The Israeli occupation is growing increasingly concerned that a confrontation could erupt on the northern front, as the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has expanded the scope of its response, targeting more Israeli positions along the border with occupied Palestine in response to Israeli attacks on border villages, journalists, and civilians, as well as the continued aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Israeli media reported that a state of panic has ensued among Israeli settlers in the north, especially those living in settlements near the borders with Lebanon, noting that settlers fear the ambiguity of the rate of escalation.
